This morning I put my thawed chicken bones in the oven to roast. Then I put them in the crock pot with all the veggies I have been collecting in the freezer and covered with filtered water. That will take most of the day on high. Later I will strain for the broth and add veggies for soup. It's a cold day so soup is what we want. Hubby can have his home made rolls and I will just have soup.
Our red apples look a bit sketchy so I am cooking them adding my home made brown sugar and some cinnamon. Hubby will love these. They wont last long.

We are planning a long trip in March out of state and I want to get rid of these extra 20 pounds. (a couple blouses will fit better) That is my goal. Only eat GOOD carbs. The hotel has breakfast so I will have the eggs and bacon/sausage. Hubby can have waffles and protein. Fortunately we only eat two meals a day. Eating out once a day is fine. I can even eat at a Italian restaurant. My meal would consist of an appetizer like stuffed mushrooms and a side salad. I have adjusted my meals when eating out. It is simple NO BREAD or NOODLES. Opt for a salad or veggies instead of spuds or rice. (Chinese restaurants are more difficult) Heck, add a side salad if they wont substitute, it wont hurt. Unfortunately, I am insulin resistant I will have to watch what I eat most of the time. I can go off once or twice a month but that is it.
