Tuesday we went to Austin for a concert. Someone we have been watching for years and finally were able to see. He doesn't make extensive US tours instead he usually tours in Europe. The cool thing is that his wife is from Texas.
The venue was the Moody Amphitheater. Nice venue. About half the size of the Toyota Center in Houston, but big enough for this spectacular production from Muse.
The first band out was a typical pop band, but the singer was amazing. We had never heard about "OneOkRock". They are a band from Japan touring with Muse. Check him out.
The second band was "Evanescence". She is a great person and years of singing.
Now the band who stole the show and in my mind was the best concert I have ever been to. Believe me, we have seen almost all rock and roll concerts when we lived on the west coast and more here in Texas. Matt is a performer and has a message for all is about limiting the power of government and what can happen of we don't, along with a lot of other songs. "Uprising" is the most popular and also "Starlight".
